Introduction to Digital Music (Part 1)

Embark on your digital music journey with our foundational course, designed to introduce you to the world of digital audio workstations (DAWs) and music creation. You'll start by learning the basics of DAWs—how to navigate the software, set up your first project, and understand the essential tools for music production.

We offer separate classes for Middle School and High School students, recognizing the unique cognitive and social needs of each age group. This ensures that every student can flourish among peers at a similar stage of development, building confidence and community as they learn together.

Music theory is the one constant among all music styles. In this course, you'll gain a firm grasp of digital music theory basics—think of it as learning the alphabet or how to count, but for music. These core concepts will empower you to create and understand music in any genre or style.

You'll create your very first digital composition, applying what you've learned in a supportive, hands-on environment. All sessions are live and collaborative, with real-time instructor feedback. You'll always know what you've achieved and exactly what your next steps are, making your progress clear and motivating.
